When you think about circus, you probably think of hoops, and tamed lions and freak shows. The posters they made back in the day were hand made. They were a master pieces, handcrafted. After doing some research for JB, it opened my eyes to all the typography they used. I might want to study that era in the future. I just finished this one....freak

So I want to keep in touch with my friends. But I also wanted to try and illustrate my own post cards to send around and maybe put a smile on their faces. This was my first attempt, I haven't come around yet to mail them...

Maple leaves forever dot com is a organization devoted to restoring maple leave to the Canadian landscape. A friend of mine asked if I could gather up idea for a logo. In return came up with this. Very loose, warm colors, cheerful, and a hint of promise. He like the human element. I don't know if he will use it. But it was fun.
