Started from Dufferin and King Streetcar, shooting inside the car onto the street. Got out at Bay and King and continued on King to Yonge. From there I walked North to Dundas. Ended at Dundas Square.

ABC Detergent box. You may have seen this version of it on Supermarket Sweep. The ABC box I'm referring to showcase a slight redesign just after the one you see here. Probably was redesigned again in the early 90's. In this screen capture from a 1988 ABC Laundry Detergent commercial you can sort of see what I'm referring to. Nice balance, cleverly chosen colour, its fun. Great idea to juggle the letters like that. Who designed it? Who produced it? I want to know and I can't find any information.

Using the Fujifilm Finepix S10000FS point and shoot with a tripod. Location Front Street East. BCE place (if you want to shoot there, don't bring your tripod you will be approached without a permit), Berczy Park, and St.Lawrence Market. You'd be surprised at how much variety you can get just in 2 blocks of the neighborhood. I wish I owned a SLR. I can't adjust the aperture much as you can see the whites are really blown out. The St.Lawrence Market images would of worked out if I had a stronger flash. Again I can't adjust that. Associate Editor Heather Li was a natural. Really easy to work with, didn't need much or if any direction.

Maple leaves forever dot com is a organization devoted to restoring maple leave to the Canadian landscape. A friend of mine asked if I could gather up idea for a logo. In return came up with this. Very loose, warm colors, cheerful, and a hint of promise. He like the human element. I don't know if he will use it. But it was fun.
